This is a list of the most common Caterpillar original part numbers in ascending order, and their corresponding aftermarket equivalent. Please note, most engine anodes are produced in zinc.

This is a brass plug with hex head and 1/4″ GAS or BSP thread. Fits pencils with 1/4″UNC thread
116-7011 is our part number 02021/1
This is a zinc pencil with 1/4″ UNC thread. Length 35mm
5B9169 is our part 02024TP or 02023TP
This is a brass plug with square head and thread 1/2″ GAS or BSP. Fits anodes with 3/8″ UNC thread
5B9651 is our part 02024-1
This is a zinc anode with 3/8″ UNC thread. Length 51mm
6L2016 is our part 02022
This is a zinc anode with 5/8″ UNF thread. Length 20mm
6L2020 is our part 02022TP
This is a brass plug with square head and 3/8″ GAS or BSP thread. Fits pencils with thread 5/8″UNF

This is a square head brass plug with 3/8″ GAS or BSP thread. Fits pencil anodes with 3/8″ UNC thread

This is a zinc pencil with 3/8″ UNC thread. Length 40mm

02027 is a zinc pencil with 3/8″ UNC thread so if you have existing plugs please check if it needs 3/8″ UNC or the older type with 7/16″ UNC.
