Boat anodes do not always come with ancillary items such as backing pads and bolts, which is why we stock a leading range of anode accessories.

Anode backing pads are typically made of a soft, pliable material and are designed to protect the surface of your vessel from any damage caused by the anode. In addition, anode backing pads are also used to cushion the anode and to distribute the pressure of the anode over a larger area, which helps to protect the surface of the vessel from being damaged.

Often used with hull anodes and rudder anodes, anode fixing bolts and studs are used to secure bolt-on anodes to your vessel. It's vital that the fixing bolts you use are of the highest quality, as if they corrode, your anode will come loose and your vessel will not be protected from galvanic corrosion.
