A split ring collar anode, alternative to Volvo part 22651246. As the Volvo saildrive anode is made from magnesium, it's suitable for use in fresh water. Thanks to the split anode design, the anode can be changed without having to remove the propeller - all you have to do is simply undo two large Allen bolts. This also means the anode can be replaced underwater if required.
The saildrive anode is manufactured to US MIL Spec by Tecnoseal in Italy, one of the world's leading suppliers of sacrificial anodes for cathodic protection in the leisure boat market.
